The adventure that exceeded expectations started here. Cuba, the largest gem in the Caribbean Sea. Four American surfers embarked to discover a great enriching culture. Visiting a country for the first time can be a challenge but with a warm welcome from the locals, everything got more exciting. The journey of fourteen days began in the capital. From there we left for Baracoa, then Guantanamo and we returned to Havana. A simple day of surfing turned out to be so much fun exploring new things. Driving through the cities gave us the opportunity to know the Cuban culture from our own perspective. Between sunsets, waves, music and much more, we got a new outlook.
It gave us the opportunity to meet joyful people who have different standards in life. In addition to surfing the best waves in Havana, we understood how people can be rich in many ways. This eye opening experience showed us that their definition of wealth is not the same as ours, it's even better. Like the Cuban culture shares, you don’t need much to enjoy the pleasures of life, with happiness and giving forward, you feel serene in a great journey. We enriched our soul, seeing how the locals share everything, so we got inspired to donate gear and boards for the enjoyment of the people. The Cuban culture opened our eyes to see a great united community, it was simply inspirational.
